Camp for parents and children

Thank you for a wonderful year!

Thank you to all the facilitators and families for a wonderful time together — we truly appreciate it. We're already preparing next year's edition. If you're interested, let us know and we'll get in touch as soon as it takes clearer shape.

Jurt Camp Vrábsko – summer camp for parents and children

Venue: Jurt Camp Vrábsko

A space where we, as parents, learn to care for ourselves.

Modern parenting places great demands on us when it comes to working with emotions. We try to raise our children with respect, understanding and the awareness that calm in the family begins with calm in ourselves. But how, when no one ever taught us this?

A place where it's okay to say: “I don't know how.” and “I don't want to do it.”

The camp for parents with children grew out of a need to find a space where parents can catch their breath for a while. Where we learn to allow ourselves the same things we normally allow our children – to be tired, undecided, curious, sometimes even grumpy. And we discover that this is exactly where real closeness begins.

Over four days we'll slow down together, gather strength and look at parenting a little differently.

Workshops await us that open the way to more lightness, kindness and understanding – nonviolent communication, the inner critic, authentic parenting, self-love, EmotionAid, mindful movement, work-life balance and a range of other inspiring topics.

And while parents have space for themselves, children can look forward to their own programme. Activities are prepared for children from the age of three – games, crafting and exploring nature – accompanied by facilitators who give them plenty of room for their own pace and ideas.

With younger children, you can bring them along to selected workshops. Most workshops run twice, so parents can take turns.

It's shared time where we can be honest – with ourselves and with our children. Four days that remind us that a parent, too, can grow, learn, make mistakes and still be good enough. Without pressure, without expectations — simply together.

I love summer, camps, and I like looking into people's souls. I'm a mum of three and most of the time I raise them completely badly. But gradually I'm realising that I can't really influence their path that much — so I work on what I can influence: having a healthy relationship with them and being a good role model. At the camp I'll be in charge of your children.

I look for the strength and the good in every person. I believe that change begins with ourselves – that's why the Camp for parents came about, a space for caring for ourselves and our relationships. I'm a psychologist, coach and mum of two. I believe in nonviolent communication, understanding and a shared intention. Happiness is a choice, so let's choose it – kindly, consciously, together.

A coach and mum of two grown-up children. I guide people on the path back to themselves and help them discover a space where they can feel lighter, freer and more genuine.

I've been practising yoga for several years and its effects still fascinate me. I study and keep learning what its practice offers, and I try to pass that on in my classes. At the camp I'll try to create a space where parents can slow down for a moment, take a breath and simply be with themselves and their body. I want to offer a gentle, safe and kind practice that supports relaxation, mindful movement and inner calm.

I believe in the potential of every person and I enjoy helping people discover together. I design and lead interactive workshops using LEGO Serious Play, which spark creativity, strengthen collaboration, help uncover the causes of difficult situations and support growth. The only limit to our possibilities tomorrow are the limits we hold today.

I'm a mindfulness teacher and a facilitator of the EmotionAid® emotional first-aid method. I focus on topics around managing stress, regulating the nervous system and developing self-kindness and self-compassion. I'm a mum of two boys aged 6 and 8.

Honza

Honza

A (former) football coach and IT Security specialist. I enjoy working with people and children, helping them discover their strengths and develop their potential. I love finding the best in everyone and supporting them in their growth – whether on the pitch, in a team, or in their personal life.

I lead my own format, Insightful Movement, which grows from a simple conviction – that the body is a compass and when we give it space, it leads us back to ourselves. I'll guide you through mindful movement focused on sensitising the body, inner resilience and a return to your own experience. For children I'm preparing a playful, energetic programme inspired by my ninja jam gatherings – full of movement games, rhythm, spontaneity and the joy of movement.

I'm dad to Niki and Míša and I know that when we get to know ourselves better, we can live more freely and authentically and have healthier relationships with ourselves and those closest to us. After years of leading design teams in the corporate world, I set out on the path of working with awareness, emotions and inner patterns. I combine transformational coaching, neuroscience, hypnosis and self-hypnosis to help people find a place within themselves where there's calm, strength and a clearer direction.

I'm a dad, I believe in respect for children and adults alike, but also for myself and my needs. I look forward to meeting over topics like authenticity, working with the inner critic, or simply caring for our souls together. I love philosophy, I'm a coach, I lead UX teams and I'm also training in psychotherapy (existential analysis).

I'm a dad of two daughters and my job is to play. As a facilitator of spontaneous play I work with groups of children, groups of adults and with children individually, and in all these constellations my job is to create the conditions for us to let our innate playfulness, creativity and trust in the world around us come through.

Camp programme

The camp programme is built so that both parents and children can fully enjoy their time. Throughout the parents' programme, a parallel programme for children from age 3 runs alongside. Some workshops are also open to joint participation – so you can bring your children with you. For each part of the programme you'll always find a note about who it's for.

What you can look forward to:

1

Morning meditation

A quiet pause at the start of the day. Space to be for a while just with yourself, your breath and what is.

2

Afternoon yoga

A playful class where movement, joy and shared time meet. Simple poses, stretching and breath – without pressure to perform, more for the experience and being together.

3

Evening Yin yoga

A calm end to the day. A slow, deep practice to release body and mind and return to yourself.

Workshops:

Nonviolent communication

A light introduction to communication based on needs and respect. In a playful way you'll try how to talk to each other without pressure and judgement.

The authentic parent

Space to find a balance between parenting and yourself. You'll take away more calm, confidence and concrete impulses for everyday life.

Emotional first aid (EmotionAid®)

5 simple steps that help calm body and mind under stress. Suitable for adults and children.

Build your direction (LEGO® Serious Play®)

A creative workshop where, using bricks, you'll clarify your values, wishes and next direction.

Play as a superpower (Six Bricks)

A demonstration of how play can be a simple and powerful tool for development and for your relationship with your child.

Self-love

How to return to yourself and replenish your energy even on an ordinary day. Practically and gently.

Balint group for parents

Sharing parenting situations in a safe environment. Without searching for the right answers, but with the chance to see things from new angles.

The inner critic

Space to work with the voice that judges and holds us back – and how to deal with it differently.

Healing Game – the power of children's play

Playing together as a path to a deeper connection with children and with ourselves.

Original Play

Free, physical play without rules or props. Space to be together through movement and contact.

One-on-one:

Care for the soul

A short meeting just for you. A safe space to pause, share and get clear on what you need right now.

For children:

The hero's journey

A camp-wide game that connects movement, story and cooperation, and in whose spirit the whole children's programme unfolds. The children gradually set out on their own adventurous journey, during which they'll discover their strengths, learn to cooperate and find solutions through their own experience. Each day brings new challenges, tasks and moments of sharing – so that the children take away not only experiences, but also the feeling that anyone can be a hero, in their own way.
